BRAND IDENTITY - EVENT
As the lead design visionary for the annual Afro Ball scholarship benefit, hosted by the USC Black Alumni Association, I fused the USC brand with Wakanda-inspired afrofuturistic elements. Balancing afrocentric and futuristic themes, I crafted a visually compelling aesthetic using world-building typefaces, hexagonal shapes, and technological effects. Leveraging Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, I created dynamic animations showcased at Avalon Hollywood, captivating over 300 attendees, including esteemed guest Reggie Bush.

Worked with the Los Angeles Urban League as their lead designer to create an event brand that would honor the event awardees, Magic and Cookie Johnson. I personally coined the event tagline and designed the overall look for the event - using brown hues and wispy magical dust accents to speak to the demographic supported by LAUL and to play on the nickname of the main honoree, Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop were used to create this design.

AD CAMPAIGN + ILLUSTRATION
This passion project involved working independently to create photo-realistic ads for Beats Studio headphones. I selected celebrities, customized slogans, and crafted ads tying their passions to headphone use. The slogan "Sound your heart will beat for" emphasizes Beats' superior sound quality. Imagery of active individuals and celebs with their loves will accompany the slogan and products. Created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The headphones seen here are vector, illustrated by hand in Illustrator.

ILLUSTRATION - BOOK COVER
This personal project involved a complete redesign of the book cover for "How To Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill You." The artwork depicts a cat, seemingly innocent, but with subtle hints of menace. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I illustrated and crafted a vector design that incorporates cat-like features into the title and strategically placed text on the spine for vertical display on bookshelves.
